Our world is built around time. It is valuable to all of us and a part of our lives that we cherish. Some days there is never enough and we seem to be rushing against the clock. Other days when something important,or exciting is going to take place, it can't go fast enough.
Then there are times when, as much as we try, we can never catch up with all the things life throws at us. Family, work and just life period, happens.
With winter fast approaching there will be snow to shovel and in the summer its grass to cut. All of this takes valuable time away, but it needs to be done.
If you're running a business, have a new baby, or in your senior years, these small things have an impact on your time.
So here are some tips to help with collecting time:
Prioritize - Which ones are important now and don't forget about yourself in this equation.
Multitasking - DON'T. Focus on one thing at a time. Better chance of it getting done. Make a list and check off one thing at a time.
Distractions - Try to minimize distractions. Shut off your phone, television, social media, etc. Focus on one task at a time. You will be surprised how fast things get completed.
Outsourcing for tasks - This is a hard one but very worth it. Have someone clean your house weekly or monthly. Hire contractors to take care of your yard or service providers to help with some more of the mundane tasks. Once you cut the cord, you will wonder why you didn't do it sooner.
